How it works

One job, done well.

InboxAgent reads what lands in your shared inbox, works out what each message is, and takes the right action in the systems you already run. Here's what happens behind that.

Rules first, AI second

The predictable majority of your mail — newsletters, system alerts, known senders — is caught by deterministic rules you control, at near-zero cost, with every decision auditable.

Only the genuinely ambiguous messages reach the AI. A confidence threshold sends anything uncertain to a human review queue instead of guessing. That keeps your costs down — we're not paid by how much AI you burn.

Conversations, not messages

InboxAgent follows the whole thread, not each email in isolation. A reply continues the existing lead or ticket instead of spawning a duplicate — so the data going into your CRM and helpdesk stays clean, without anyone manually policing it.

Your corrections become your system

Re-route a message and the correction feeds back in — as a candidate rule, a sender pattern, or a threshold change you can inspect. This is the real product: not the AI, but the system your team's judgement builds around it.

Every decision is explainable

For each message you can see what was decided, how confident it was, what action was taken, and the result in the connected system. Failed actions are tracked and retried. Nothing is a black box.

Oversight for the owner

Your dashboard shows routing accuracy, what the system learned this week, and confirmation that inbound traffic is actually being handled across the team — including the strategically important work that's easy to quietly deprioritise.

No CRM or helpdesk? You're still covered.

You don't need other software to get value. InboxAgent delivers the sorted, important messages straight to the right person by email — and everything stays visible in your dashboard. Add a CRM or helpdesk later and it simply starts feeding it.

What compounds

Two things that get better over time.

Intelligence that stays

The rules and learning your team builds belong to the organisation — they don't walk out the door when a salesperson leaves.

Everyone gets smarter

Every customer benefits from what the platform learns across organisations and industries — at no extra cost.
