Considering Missive, Front or Hiver? Keep your inbox. Stop missing leads.

Most teams start looking at a new shared inbox because leads and customer emails are slipping through. InboxAgent fixes that on the Outlook or Gmail mailboxes you already use. It reads them read-only, works out which emails are leads, and gives every one an owner. There is nothing to migrate and nothing new for your team to learn.

Why teams keep their inbox and add InboxAgent

1

Your team stays where it is.

Outlook or Gmail, exactly as now. Nobody moves into a new app, and nothing about the way they reply changes.

2

Every lead gets an owner.

Leads land on a board with a name against them, and go to Zoho CRM or HubSpot if you use one. You can see what is still waiting.

3

One price per organization.

$20 a month including the first mailbox, then $5 for each additional mailbox. Users are free.

Read-only access, and it never sends mail. Gmail access verified by Google's independent security assessment (CASA). Listed on the Microsoft marketplace.

How InboxAgent compares

Who else does something like InboxAgent?

The tools people compare us with fall into three groups:

  • help desks and shared inboxes: Front, Hiver, Help Scout and Keeping
  • tools that add boards or an assistant inside Gmail or one mail app: Sortd, Gmelius, Drag and Mailbutler
  • a team email app that replaces your mail client: Missive

InboxAgent is none of these. It reads the mailboxes you already have, read-only, and makes sure every lead in them has an owner.

Is InboxAgent an alternative to Missive?

Only if what you need is leads that never go missing. Missive is a team email app that your team moves into to read, write and discuss mail, and it does that well. InboxAgent leaves your team in Outlook or Gmail, reads the same mailboxes read-only, and puts an owner and a stage on every lead. Missive bills per user; InboxAgent bills per organization, and users are free.

How is InboxAgent different from Front?

Front is a shared inbox and help desk that your team migrates into. InboxAgent works on the mailbox you already have, with no migration. Your team keeps working in Outlook or Gmail, and every sales lead and service request gets an owner. If you use a help desk, InboxAgent can pass service requests to Zoho Desk or HubSpot.

How does InboxAgent compare to Hiver?

Hiver is a help desk built to run inside Gmail, and it advertises AI agents that respond to emails. InboxAgent works on Microsoft 365, Gmail, Zoho Mail and any IMAP mailbox, without asking your team to work somewhere new. It is read-only and never sends mail, so a person still writes every reply.

Does InboxAgent replace Gmelius?

They do different jobs. Gmelius adds shared inboxes, automation and an AI assistant inside Gmail, and its assistant can draft, send and follow up for you. It works with Gmail and Google Workspace only. InboxAgent covers Microsoft 365, Gmail, Zoho Mail and any IMAP mailbox, is read-only, and never sends mail.

How is InboxAgent different from Sortd?

Sortd turns Gmail into sales and task boards, and it works on Gmail and Google Workspace only. InboxAgent reads the mailboxes you already have, on any of the major providers, works out which emails are leads, and puts each one on a board with an owner. Nobody on your team has to change how they read email.

How is InboxAgent different from Drag?

Drag adds boards to Gmail and needs Chrome, and its agent can send customer email on its own once it is confident enough. InboxAgent works across Microsoft 365, Gmail, Zoho Mail and any IMAP mailbox. It is read-only, and a person still writes every reply.

Is InboxAgent like Mailbutler?

Not really. Mailbutler is an assistant for one person's inbox in Apple Mail, Gmail or Outlook, with tools such as email tracking. InboxAgent is for a business's mailboxes. It reads shared and team mailboxes, read-only, and shows the owner every lead and who has it.

How does InboxAgent compare to Keeping?

Keeping turns Gmail into a help desk for customer support, and it is designed for Gmail. InboxAgent works on Microsoft 365, Gmail, Zoho Mail and any IMAP mailbox. It looks after the sales leads in your mailboxes as well as service requests, and gives each one an owner.
